This calculator automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time where applicable.

The Time Zone Calculator takes the guesswork out of coordinating across different parts of the world. Whether you are scheduling a meeting between colleagues in New York and London, confirming a call time with a client in Tokyo while you sit in New Delhi, or simply trying to figure out what 3 PM in Sydney translates to where you are right now — manually working through time zone offsets and daylight saving adjustments is the kind of task that is easy to get wrong. This calculator handles all of that automatically. Pick your reference location, enter the time you are working from, add the cities you want to compare, and the converted times appear side by side with no arithmetic required on your part.

How It Works: The calculator converts your reference time to each selected time zone by applying the correct UTC offset for that location. Daylight Saving Time adjustments are factored in automatically where applicable, so the result reflects what the clock actually reads in each location on the date you specify — not just a fixed offset that may no longer be current.

How to Use the Time Zone Calculator

Getting your converted times takes only a few steps:

Select Your Reference Location from the dropdown, which covers major cities and time zones including UTC, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, New Delhi, and Sydney. This is the location whose time you are starting from — the place you know the time for.

Enter the Date for your conversion. Including the date matters because daylight saving time transitions mean that the offset between two cities can shift depending on the time of year. Using the correct date ensures the result accounts for whether DST is currently active in each location.

Enter the Time in your reference location using the time input field. This is the moment you want to translate — for example, the time a meeting is scheduled to start or when an event is set to take place.

Select the Cities to Compare using the Compare With dropdown. Add as many additional time zones as you need by clicking Add Another Time Zone. Each added location will show what the time looks like there when it is the reference time you entered.

Click Convert Time and all the converted times appear at once in the results section, displayed clearly with each city labeled and the time difference from your reference location indicated alongside.

Why Use the Time Zone Calculator Online?

Daylight Saving Time Is Handled Automatically: This is where most manual conversions break down. DST does not begin and end on the same date everywhere, and some regions do not observe it at all. The calculator applies the correct adjustment for each location based on the date you enter, so you never have to remember which cities are currently ahead or behind their standard offset.

Compare Multiple Cities at Once: Rather than running a separate calculation for each city, you can stack multiple time zones in a single view and see all the converted times together. This is far more practical when you are coordinating across three or four locations simultaneously and need to find an overlap that works for everyone.

Covers the Most Commonly Used Global Cities: The location list includes the time zones that come up most frequently in international work and travel — from the major US cities through to Europe, South Asia, East Asia, and Australia. The coverage spans the time zones that account for the vast majority of everyday international scheduling needs.

Removes the Risk of Getting DST Adjustments Wrong: Sending a meeting invite at the wrong hour because you forgot that London just moved its clocks is an easy mistake to make and an awkward one to explain. Using this calculator before you send any cross-timezone invite or confirmation takes that risk entirely off the table.

Fast, Free, and Requires Nothing to Get Started: The calculator works immediately in your browser without any account setup, subscription, or installation. Open it, select your zones, enter your time, and get your answer — exactly as a tool this focused should work.
